Baco Properties

Our Story

Baco Properties is a privately held real estate investment and management company headquartered in San Francisco. Assets under management include self-storage, industrial, retail and single-family residential properties, located coast-to-coast, with a particularly strong presence in Northern California, Southern California, and the Washington DC metro area.

Ben Eisler began his career in the real estate industry in 1967, acquiring apartments, condos and industrial buildings. In 1983, Ben looked at an apartment building in Modesto, California. He didn’t like the building, but the broker asked if he would be interested in getting involved in the relatively young self storage industry. He looked at his first facility in Modesto, which would become the first Security Public Storage location. We still own the Modesto self-storage facility on Woodland Avenue today.
